Karen Elliott is a Certified Consulting Hypnotist and member of the National Guild of Hypnotists. In addition to assisting people on concerns from stress, weight loss and management to smoking cessation, fear and productivity, Ms. Elliott specializes in issues of the performing artist, athlete and individuals who must perform "at the top of their game" on a regular basis.
Ms. Elliott is a professional actress and singer with a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from the Juilliard School and a Bachelors Degree in Music from The Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University.
As a teacher for over 15 years, Ms. Elliott has instructed singers and actors in master classes, private studio work and as an adjunct professor at Union College, Missouri and Antioch College in New York City. In addition to teaching, Ms. Elliott maintains a professional performing career. She was a company member of both Les Miserables and the Les Miserables - Revival on Broadway and is the only woman to have played the role of Madame Thenardier in both of those companies as well as the National Tour. Ms. Elliott has also performed extensively in Europe and American regional theater.
